The location was great, with easy access to the tram for a quick trip to the city center. The hotel was also conveniently situated near the football stadium. Additionally, the staff were friendly and the breakfast had a good selection of food.

The hotel is ideally placed in the pretty town of Muttenz and about 10-15 minutes by taxi from central Basel.The staff were very friendly and most helpful both on arrival and departure. The hotel was clean and comfortable with a good level of services. The bedroom and bathroom were tidy and well equipped and the bed was comfortabIe. The buffet breakfast was absolutely fine.

It was a comfortable and quality hotel in a suburb of Basel which offered friendliness and a fresh aired atmosphere at a time when Basel Stadt is always humid. Breakfast was a delight.

My Christmas stay at this hotel was a great experience. The room was spacious and comfortable, and the breakfast buffet had a good variety of choices. The hotel is conveniently located close to public transportation and to some local attractions. the staff was helpful and friendly throughout my stay.

There were some negative aspects to my stay. The decor of the room appeared to be outdated and could use some refreshing.

Nice location for an overnight stay, few minutes away from motorway. Restaurant was good and also the breakfast was excellent.

It was very hot in the room and no airco. We did not even have a balcony just a small window. Hotel was modern in the 80ies, now outdated, however very clean.

Spent my New Year's Eve in this suburb hotel and I was happy with my experience. the hotel is situated in a quiet village with convenient access to transportation to Basel city center. the room was clean and comfortable, with a good shower and pillows. the staff were friendly and offered useful advice about the area. the breakfast buffet was also good, with plenty of options to choose from. a pleasant stay and a good value for the price.

The downside was that the room was small and lacked a bit of storage space. the decor was basic and could use an update.

The staff were pleasant without being too effusive. I booked his hotel as it had one of the last rooms available during BaselWorld. It is 30 minutes by tram from the city centre.

These are comments not criticisms as such:- £200 B&B for a single room. Breakfast was standard continental not cooked. No 24x7 Reception so you need a PIN code for late arrival. Basically a 3 star conference hotel.

The location of the hotel is great, as it is very close to a tram station that can quickly take you to Basel center. it is also conveniently situated near the football stadium, making it a good choice for sports enthusiasts.

One negative aspect was the grumpy attitude of the barman, who seemed hostile towards guests and misunderstood their simple requests for water.
